Elements of concealed hinges are integrated into the faltzluft (the distance between the frame and the fold of the window sash). Thanks to this, they are visually invisible, both indoors and from the street. This structure has a number of advantages: modern window design and additional functionality of the window structure.
Сoncealed hinges make it possible to create a unique window design and harmoniously combine it with the interior. The absence of visible elements allows you to choose the color of the window lamination without reference to the shade of the decorative overlays. Windows with concealed hinges are especially relevant when creating original and refined interiors, as well as when reconstructing historical objects.
If concealed hinges are chosen instead of traditional "external" hinges, the tightness and energy efficiency of the window structure increases. Сoncealed hinges do not interrupt the circuit of the window seal (the circuit remains closed), which excludes blowing and freezing in the hinges area.
Due to the fact that the hidden hinges are "concealed" in the profile, it is extremely difficult for an attacker to reach the mechanism in the area of the hinges. Together with other anti-burglary elements of the window, concealed hinges are able to protect the house from uninvited guests, including burglary resistance class RC2.
Due to the mechanical properties of the concealed hinges, when the window is opened, the sash moves to the center. Thanks to which, the requirements for the location of slopes during installation are significantly simplified. Because with concealed hinges, a greater overlap of the slope on the frame is allowed.
AXOR concealed hinges make it possible to open the window sash by 100 degrees. Taking into account the features of various window structures and individual needs during window operation, an opening limiter can be installed. This will limit the rotation of the leaf to a certain angle and prevent it from hitting the slope.
